An Easter celebration full of laughter, colour and togetherness

An Easter celebration full of laughter, colour and togetherness

Easter at the Village began with beaming faces and eager anticipation. The children gathered as early as the morning for breakfast together – a peaceful start to a day that was soon to become full of life.

Shortly afterwards, things became colourful: the children threw themselves into a creative egg-painting activity with great enthusiasm. Little hands transformed plain eggs into colourful works of art – each one as unique as the children themselves. The laughter, the concentration and the proud looks showed that this moment belonged entirely to them.

At lunchtime, a very special highlight awaited: pilau – one of the children’s favourite dishes – was enjoyed together. Meanwhile, hard-working helpers were already busy in the background: hidden Easter eggs were placed around the grounds, building the excitement.
And then the moment finally arrived: the big Easter egg hunt began! With sparkling eyes and full of energy, the children ran through the Village, searching, discovering and cheering with every find. A special moment full of joy, activity and genuine children’s laughter!
But the day had even more to offer: the children put their knowledge to the test in a Bible quiz. They took part with great enthusiasm, answering questions and cheering each other on.

Things then got really loud and cheerful again: the girls went head-to-head with the boys in a dance competition. Music filled the Village, and the children danced with such energy and joy that nobody could stand still. Laughter and cheers could be heard everywhere.
This special day drew to a close with a game of cards together. In a relaxed atmosphere, the children looked back on their experiences – tired, but just as happy.
The Easter egg hunt and the card game in particular remained in many children’s memories as highlights. But in truth, it was the whole day that showed just how much joy, togetherness and light-heartedness are possible.
