The operating non-profit and non-govenrmental organisation is the UPENDO Children’s Village Trust Foundation (UVT). It was founded on the 12^th of January 2007  and is located in Ukunda/Kenya.

Members of  the Board of Trustees are (in alphabetical order):

Gerd Blanke, Dr. Michael Fretter, Manfred Herrmans, Uwe Kaiser, Justus Munyithya, Andrew Onguka und Dorah Zawadi Changawa.

The village is managed by Dorah Changara Zawadi, a Kenyan lady.

We are furthermore happy to welcome Peter and Selpher Mutua of the Baby Life Rescue Center (NGO) as consultants to our project.
